Punta Uva beach in Limon
At the extreme south of the Caribbean coast, in the region of Puerto Limón, Punta Uva is one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Its fine sand and blue waters make Playa Cocles one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Be sure to stay there until evening, just to admire its incredible sunset.
Playa Blanca in Limon
As you will have understood, the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica are located in the Puerto Limón region. Near the town of Cahuita, Playa Blanca lives up to its name. A large stretch of white sand caressed by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, Playa Blanca lies at the bottom of Cahuita National Park. It is also accessed through the national park via Kelly Creek, the main entrance. Its remote location makes this beach one of the least crowded in the country.
